BZN (Band Zonder Naam, ook bekend als Band Without A Name) begon in 1966 als een pop-rock band, gevestigd in Volendam. De band schakelde over van hardrock naar pop, onderging verschillende veranderingen in de line-up en scoorde hun eerste commerciële succes met "Mon Amour" in 1976. Dit eerste succes leidde tot een reeks hits, die in Nederland, Duitsland, België en zelfs Zuid-Afrika in de hitlijsten stonden. Na 42 jaar kwam er in 2007 een einde aan hun carrière met een slotconcert in Ahoy Rotterdam.
